Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on November 2025.

We at Work Within are working to make our site Work Within workwithin.com.au accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the AA level. This site's contents have been designed to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard navigation.

As part of this effort, we have:

  • Implemented semantic HTML structure to support screen-reader interpretation

  • Ensured colour contrast meets accessibility standards

  • Provided descriptive alternative text for images and non-text content

  • Enabled full keyboard usability across menus, buttons and forms

  • Ensured headings, labels and form fields are clear and accessible

  • Added visible focus indicators for all interactive elements

  • Reviewed animations and motion to minimise discomfort

  • Tested the site across multiple devices, browsers and assistive tools

We are committed to continually improving the accessibility of our website. If you experience any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at amy@workwithin.com.au.
