You Belong Here...

At Work Within, inclusivity isn’t just a value... it’s at the heart of everything we do. Everyone deserves to feel seen, safe, and supported, exactly as they are.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples

I acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work, and learn. I pay my respects to Elders past and present, and recognise their enduring connection to Country, waters, kin, and community. I honour the strength and resilience of First Nations peoples and am committed to walking alongside any journey of healing, reconciliation, and connection to culture.

LGBTQIA+ Community

I am a proud ally and deeply committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for all people. I stand with and in support of the LGBTQIA+ community, and embrace diversity in all its forms. There is a seat at my table for everyone, regardless of ethnicity, faith, gender identity, sexual orientation, or lived experience. I acknowledge the harm caused by judgement and prejudice, and celebrate the courage and resilience of those who have faced it.

Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities

Australia is a land of many cultures and stories. I recognise and value the richness that comes from our diverse communities, including migrant, refugee, and multicultural populations, and acknowledge the adversity many have faced on their journey toward belonging and inclusion.

Rural and Remote Communities

I also acknowledge the unique challenges and strengths of people living in rural and remote areas. Having grown up in the country and begun my work within these communities, I am passionate about ensuring access to quality support and connection for those who often go without.

Finally, this is a space for those who have ever felt like they don’t fit “in the box”, for the neurodiverse, the outliers, those who feel unseen, unheard, or “too much.”

You are welcome here, exactly as you are. You are valued, respected, and seen.
